30-Day Grace Period

Every student gets a 30-day grace period from the start of each term before payment is required. This gives families time to plan and pay without pressure.

Two Flexible Payment Options

Schools can choose the payment model that works best for them:

Option 1: School Bulk Payment

The school pays Schoogine subscription fees directly for all students in one transaction.

How it works:

  1. School calculates total: (Number of students x Plan price)
  2. School makes one bulk payment for all students
  3. All student accounts unlock immediately
  4. School handles fee collection from parents separately
Example: 200 students x ₵5 (Basic) = ₵1,000 per term

Option 2: Individual Student/Guardian Payment

Students or guardians pay their Schoogine fees directly through the platform.

How it works:

  1. School creates payment request with school fees + Schoogine fee
  2. Guardian receives notification and logs in to pay
  3. Guardian pays online via Mobile Money, card, or bank transfer
  4. Payment automatically splits: School fees → School balance, Platform fee → Schoogine
  5. Student account unlocks when minimum payment (Schoogine fee) is received
Example: School fee ₵1,000 + Schoogine fee ₵13 (Pro) = ₵1,013 total payment

Payment Workflow (Individual Payment Option)

  1. Payment Request: Headteacher creates payment request with school fees + Schoogine platform fee
  2. Notification: Guardian/student receives notification and can view amount due
  3. 30-Day Grace: Account remains active for 30 days from term start
  4. Online Payment: Guardian pays securely via Paystack (Mobile Money, cards, bank transfer)
  5. Automatic Split: Schoogine platform fee + School portion are automatically separated
  6. Instant Unlock: Account unlocks immediately when minimum payment received
  7. School Payout: School requests withdrawal of their balance (minimum ₵1,000) anytime
