Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Schoogine Digital School System.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Schoogine, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.
2. Service Description
Schoogine provides a cloud-based school management system for educational institutions in Ghana.
- Student and teacher management
- Attendance tracking
- Grade and report card generation
- Fee payment processing
- Assignment management
3. User Accounts
Account Creation: Schools must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
4. Subscription and Payment
Subscription Plans: Schoogine offers two feature-based subscription tiers: Basic (₵5/student/term) and Pro (₵13/student/term). Plan selection is based on features required, not school size.
Payment Terms: Subscriptions are billed per academic term only. There are no annual commitments or contracts.
Grace Period: A 30-day grace period is provided from the start of each term before payment enforcement.
Payment Options: Schools may choose between bulk payment for all students or individual student/guardian payments.
Auto-Renewal: Term subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the next term begins.
5. Data Ownership and Usage
Your Data: All data entered by your institution remains your property.
Our Rights: We may use aggregate, anonymized data for service improvement and analytics.
6. Account Suspension and Termination
Schoogine reserves the right to suspend, disable, or terminate school accounts under the following circumstances:
- Non-Payment: Failure to pay subscription fees within the grace period and any additional remedy period
- Violation of Terms: Breach of these Terms of Service or misuse of the platform
- Fraudulent Activity: Evidence of fraudulent payments, false information, or deceptive practices
- Illegal Content: Uploading or sharing content that violates Ghanaian law or international copyright
- System Abuse: Attempts to hack, exploit vulnerabilities, or overload system resources
- Harmful Behavior: Harassment, bullying, or inappropriate conduct toward other users or schools
- Data Misuse: Unauthorized sharing, selling, or exploitation of student/parent data
- Repeated Support Violations: Persistent abuse of support staff or filing false claims
- Misrepresentation: Operating under false credentials or impersonating other institutions
Notice Period: Schoogine will provide reasonable notice before suspension except in cases of severe violations, fraud, or legal requirements. Schools may appeal suspensions by contacting support@schoogine.com.
Data Access: Suspended accounts retain read-only access to export data for 30 days. Terminated accounts receive a final data export upon request within 14 days.
7. Limitation of Liability
Schoogine is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for indirect damages, data loss, or service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.
